Chapter 1021 It’s Her Again
Tamara bit into her bread again. “I just think it’s getting a little boring.”
Sebastian observed her and said, “No.”
“What?” Tamara was taken aback. She wasn’t expecting such a swift rejection.
Wasn’t he busy?
He was replying to emails every single day, and he would sometimes hold meetings over the phone as well.
Wouldn’t it be a good thing to end their honeymoon early?
Sebastian put down his phone and sighed. “I never knew you were the considerate type.”
Tamara turned pink. “I just wanted to give you a choice. Since you rejected the idea, let’s see the honeymoon to the end.”
“Mhm. Let’s go through with the plan. I won’t agree to end our journey early.” Sebastian held Tamara’s hand. His gaze softened at her.
Tamara took her hand back and got up. “I’m full. I’ll be in the courtyard if you need me. Clean this up!”
Tamara exited the villa.
Sebastian watched her retreating figure with a smile. However, his smile faded when his eyes landed on his phone.
…
The courtyard wasn’t big, but it did have a swing set. Tamara sat down on it and started playing around.
“Hello…” came a familiar voice.
Tamara spun around and saw an excited Alice staring at her from outside the fence.
“It’s you!” Tamara jumped off the swing set and walked up to Alice. She was also surprised by the coincidence. “I’m surprised to see you here, Alice.”
Alice giggled. “Perks of being a photographer, I think. I heard this place has a nice sunset view and decided to come. I wasn’t expecting to meet you here. Fate can be weird sometimes.”
Tamara smiled and said, “You’re right.”
Alice glanced at the villa. “Where’s your husband?”
Tamara pointed behind her. “He’s inside washing the plates. I just had my dinner. How about you?”
Alice widened her eyes in disbelief. “Wow! Your husband is so nice. He would even wash the dishes for you.”
Tamara giggled and quipped, “Does he expect me to wash them instead?”
Alice laughed. She continued, “Can I come in? I just landed and wanted to have some rest. I’ll start taking pictures again tomorrow.”
Tamara nodded. “Sure.”
Alice entered from the front gate and sat on the other swing with Tamara.
When Sebastian came out and saw Alice, his face fell. He stomped over and pulled Tamara behind him.
“What’s wrong?” Tamara tilted her head in confusion.
Sebastian sneered coldly, “Why did you let her in?”
Tamara turned to Alice, who was giving her a confused look. The poor girl didn’t know why Sebastian was sneering at her.
Tamara sighed and apologized, “I’m sorry, Alice. Something came up. I won’t be able to continue our conversation.”
“Oh. That’s fine. I’ll head back then. We’re neighbors. There will be plenty of chances to talk.” Alice grinned before leaving the villa.
After making sure Alice was gone, Tamara turned to Sebastian with a puzzled look. “Why are you so hostile towards her?”
Sebastian huffed coldly, “This is our honeymoon. I’m hostile towards everyone.”
