Chapter 1030 Hiding Something

Tamara observed Sebastian closely. After a while, Tamara retracted her gaze, but her suspicion only grew. She had to get to the bottom of this. … After their meal, they both went for a few more rides. Since Tamara couldn’t handle extreme rides such as the rollercoaster, they spent the rest of the day playing the more tame rides. They only left the park when night fell. They had to take a car back from the park since it was located on the city’s outskirts. Sebastian already had a car waiting for them outside. Once they got in, Tamara fell asleep against Sebastian. She was just too exhausted. Back at the villa, Sebastian carried Tamara back into the room. However, just when they were walking past the courtyard, Alice had also just returned. The sun was setting beautifully along the horizon. This inspired Alice, and she quickly took a picture of the young couple. Sebastian took note of this and gave her a harsh glare. Alice shivered under his glare. “Sorry. I just…” “Shut up,” ordered Sebastian. Tamara was still asleep. Alice might wake her up if she continued talking like that. Alice must have understood as well. She gave him an apologetic look and quickly went back to her villa. … Sebastian placed Tamara onto the bed. The woman in question whined and slowly opened her eyes. “Hubby…” Tamara wrapped her arms around Sebastian’s neck, not allowing him to leave. Sebastian kissed her cheeks. “Be a good girl and sleep. I’ll wake you up when dinner is ready.” Tamara snuggled into his chest. She whined, “Let me cook instead.” Sebastian cocked a brow. The corners of his lips curled into a smile. “You will?” “Mhm. What’s wrong? Do you doubt my skill?” Tamara had finally gotten out of her dazed state. “Not at all.” Sebastian grinned, adding, “I’ll help you with the vegetables.” “No.” Tamara shook her head. “You just need to sit here and wait.” Sebastian chuckled and said, “As you wish, your highness.” Tamara got up and left for the kitchen, her thoughts consumed by her suspicions. She couldn’t help but let out a sigh. However, she quickly gave herself a word of encouragement. Sebastian sat in the living room and went through his emails. Not long after, a mouth-watering aroma flooded over him. He smiled. Sebastian got up and entered the kitchen. He saw that Tamara was seasoning the food. “Why did you just come in without informing me?” yelped Tamara. Sebastian had wrapped his arms around Tamara when he entered, which caught Tamara by surprise. She sent him a glare. Sebastian smirked and quipped, “What’s wrong? Are you hiding something from me?” Tamara huffed, “Do you think I will tell you if I’m hiding something?” Sebastian raised a brow. “So you are hiding something.” Something flashed across Tamara’s eyes. She was glad her back was turned to Sebastian and that he couldn’t see her emotions. She put on a faint smile before turning around to push him out of the kitchen. “Can’t you just wait outside? Don’t bother me. I’ll get distracted if you’re there,” grumbled Tamara, pouting. Sebastian quirked an eyebrow at her. After a moment of silence, he chuckled.
