Chapter 1035 Prize

Tamara gave Alice an indifferent look. “Are you saying you have feelings for him?” “You’re smart! I’m starting to understand why he likes you!” laughed Alice mockingly. Tamara sighed to herself. Alice smiled dreamily as she recalled Sebastian’s looks. “He’s tall and handsome and always has an air about him. My heart races every time he looks at me. I have always wanted a man like him.” Tamara almost gagged at the description. Alice continued to indulge in her fantasies about Sebastian, gushing over his appearance and charismatic demeanor, oblivious to the ominous expression on Tamara’s face. Tamara closed her eyes and suddenly piped up, “So you want to separate us.” Alice blinked innocently at her. “I wouldn’t call it that. I just think you’re not suitable for him. He deserves someone better.” “And you’re saying you are the one?” Tamara’s gaze was as cold as ice. Alice nodded with unwavering confidence. “I am the best choice for him. I truly believe we are a match made in heaven. As for you, you are weak and fragile. I doubt you can satisfy him in bed.” Tamara gritted her teeth. She kept reminding herself to calm down. Now wasn’t the time to fight back. Tamara had yet to get a good read on Alice, nor did she find out about Alice’s background. One wrong move and their plan might just go up in flames. She had to calm down. “Come closer. I have a secret for you.” Tamara gave Alice a dark smile. Alice immediately narrowed her eyes in alarm. “Fuck off! Just stay here. Don’t even bother coming up with an escape plan. I won’t hesitate to kill you if the situation calls for it!” Tamara sneered. Alice didn’t fall for her trap. “It didn’t matter,” she thought to herself. Tamara had plenty of time for her revenge once they got to Alice’s lair. Tamara forced herself to calm down. She closed her eyes and rested, wanting to preserve some energy. All the rooms were tightly sealed, and there were no windows nearby. Tamara had no idea where they were or which island they were being taken to. After the ship docked, Alice roused Tamara from her slumber and escorted her off the vessel. It was past midnight when they arrived, yet the island was brightly lit. Dozens of guards were waiting at the port. Each had a gun in hand. When they saw Alice, they immediately greeted her, “Welcome back, Miss Alice.” Tamara quirked an eyebrow at this. It seemed like Alice was a big shot around here. Alice smiled at the guards before pulling Tamara into a car. Sebastian was dragged into another car. “Isn’t my island beautiful?” Alice smirked at Tamara proudly. Tamara scanned the place. There were no tall buildings in sight, only two or three-story houses. But the roads were clean and tidy. Tamara was a little surprised. Who knew the island would house a nice little town like this? Soon, the car stopped in front of an old palace. A well-dressed butler stepped forward and greeted Alice, “Welcome back, Miss Alice. Sir has been awaiting your return.” Alice got out of the car and gave the butler a hug. “This is my prize. I can’t wait to show it to my brother!”
