Chapter 560 A Familiar Face

Benjamin’s split personality disorder had taken a toll on Margot’s sanity in the past. After the primary personality was eradicated, only the secondary one remained. Tamara thought that Benjamin’s secondary personality would love Margot wholeheartedly. Who knew that the bastard would act up after two years? What on earth happened in between? Why couldn’t they remain happy together? Tamara had the sudden urge to interrogate Benjamin right away. She wanted to know what caused him to behave this way. Margot laughed out loud, then started to cry. “Tammy, I’m so upset. He promised that he wouldn’t leave me and that he would love me! He’s such a liar! He divorced me and got together with Kayla!” Tammy hugged Margot, allowing her friend to cry her heart out. Exhausted from crying, Margot ended up falling asleep. Tamara tucked her friend in properly, then walked out of the room silently. She called her aunt on her phone to tell her that she wouldn’t be able to make it back home. She had to spend the night with Margot. Then, she left to do some shopping. Margot had thrown up a lot. She would definitely be hungry once she woke up. Tamara took the elevator downstairs. The elevator stopped momentarily on the fourth floor. However, when the doors slid open, no one walked in. Without thinking much of it, she reached for the button to close the doors. Just as she was about to press the button, she caught a glimpse of a familiar figure walking into a private room. It was Benjamin Inkling! Tamara hurried out of the elevator and walked up to the private room in question. She listened through the door and could tell that there were people messing around inside. A woman’s laughter could be heard among the chatter as well. Tamara’s beautiful face turned cold. She pushed the door open and went inside. There were a bunch of people in the room. The only person Tamara knew inside was Benjamin. However, there was a woman with an innocent face sitting next to him. Tamara figured that the woman must be Kayla. Tamara curled her lips into a charming smile. “Sorry, wrong room. Mr. Inkling, I didn’t think I’d see a familiar face here. Long time no see.” Kayla narrowed her eyes. “Who are you?” Tamara glanced at her and reached a hand out. “Let me introduce myself, my name’s Tamara Moore.” Kayla’s eyes twinkled, and she shook Tamara’s hand with a smile. However, her smile instantly twisted into an ugly grimace in the next second. She hurriedly pulled her hand back because of the pain. Tamara quickly put a panicked look on her face. “Gosh, I’m so sorry. I took up martial arts recently, so I might have been a bit too rough on you just now. You’re not hurt, are you?” Since Tamara had apologized, Kayla would seem petty if she kept dwelling on the matter. She shook her head with a smile. “Of course not. I think it’s great that you’re learning martial arts. You’ll be able to protect yourself.” Tamara nodded. “My thoughts exactly.” Every man in the private room stared at Tamara. Though Tamara had a certain innocence about her, it was different from what Kayla possessed. Tamara had beautiful facial features and appeared gorgeous and delicate. Everyone couldn’t help but feel awed by her beauty. “Pretty lady, you’ll have to drink as punishment for coming in here by mistake,” a man said. Tamara cocked an eyebrow. “Sure, but it wouldn’t be fun if I’m the only one drinking, would it? Why don’t we play a drinking game?” The man was suddenly ecstatic. “What kind of game?” Tamara’s clear eyes surveyed the room for a moment, and all the men sucked in a cold breath. When their eyes met hers, they felt seconds away from melting away. Tamara’s gaze finally landed on Benjamin’s cold expression. She pointed at him and said to the man from before, “Let’s see which one of us can drink the most. If I win, you’ll have to punch him.” The man was taken aback. Then, he asked, “What if I win, then?” Tamara smiled. “I’ll accept any punishment you demand of me. How does that sound?” The man’s eyes lit up right away.
