Chapter 561 Satisfied Smile

Other than Kayla, no one else in the private room knew what background Benjamin came from. All the men were hesitant at first. Benjamin was the person brought over by Kayla, after all. They did not want to offend the man. However, after spotting the beautiful woman before them, they couldn’t care less about offending Benjamin. The man who spoke nodded. “Deal! Let’s hope you won’t regret this, sweetheart.” Tamara smiled, yet her crystal eyes were cold as they looked over at Benjamin. “Mr. Inkling, you don’t mind, do you? You’re the only person I know here, after all. I don’t think it’d be fair for anyone else to take the beating.” No hint of emotion showed on Benjamin’s face. In fact, he hadn’t even spared Tamara a second look. He merely replied coldly, “Whatever.” Tamara sneered inwardly. “What a fucking bastard,” she thought. She was going to avenge Margot by teaching him a lesson! There were a couple of bottles on the table. Tamara grabbed one and poured wine into two glasses. After handing one to the man from before, she threw her head back and downed the other one. “Your turn.” After Tamara finished her glass, she shot the man a smirk. The man felt as if his soul left his body. He hurriedly chugged his drink. “Chug! Chug! Chug!” “You can do it!” “You’re pathetic if you can’t beat a woman at drinking!” Everyone around them began to cheer. The man was getting pumped up. In the end, he didn’t bother waiting for Tamara to pour him another drink. He grabbed a bottle and chugged it down straight away. Tamara’s eyes flashed with mockery. After the man was done with the bottle, his eyes looked glazed over. He patted his head, then looked up at the woman before him. “Why…don’t you look even a little tipsy?” Tamara smirked. “If you drink any more, you won’t be able to throw any hits properly. I want you to punch him once right now. It’s only fair, right?” Her voice was soft like cotton candy, and it made the man’s heart flutter. The man replied, “Fine, I concede!” Tamara shot him a satisfied smile. She watched as the man approached Benjamin clumsily. However, Kayla suddenly spoke up, “It’s just a silly game. We don’t need to take it so seriously, do we?” Tamara cocked an eyebrow. “Well, Mr. Inkling did agree to it. Who are you to make decisions for him?” Kayla was temporarily stunned. She watched as the drunk man punched Benjamin in the face. However, since the man was drunk, he did not pack a good punch. It did not hurt Benjamin at all. Tamara wasn’t happy with the results. “Let’s play another game, shall we?” Tamara swept her gaze over the other men. “Let’s play a card game. If I lose, you can ask me to do anything, but if I win, I want you guys to hit him.” The men exchanged glances with each other. Kayla was really upset. “Miss Moore, has Benjamin done something to offend you? Why are you trying to humiliate him so publicly?” Tamara blinked. Before she could retort, Benjamin interjected, “I’m the only person she knows here, so it’s only natural that she’d want me to take the punishment for her. Do you want to take my place instead?” Kayla’s expression darkened instantly. After hearing what Benjamin said, the men in the room began to walk over. After all, with a beautiful, charming young woman in the room, no man would be dumb enough to pass off the opportunity. If they won, they would be granted a great reward! However, these men did not know what was coming. Tamara even managed to beat Simon, who was the owner of an underground casino. These men were nothing. When Tamara saw that almost everyone in the private room had gotten a punch in, causing Benjamin to pale, a satisfied smile appeared on Tamara’s face. “Mr. Inkling, sorry about today. I’ll treat you to a meal another time.” With that, Tamara spun on her heel and left. “Hold on.” At this moment, Kayla spoke up. “Miss Moore, you can’t leave just like that after doing this to him. It’s really unreasonable of you, don’t you think?” Tamara turned around. “Oh? What do you want me to do about it?” Kayla stared at her with pure innocence in her eyes. “I just think that you crossed the line. Benjamin didn’t try to get even with you because he’s a gentleman. He’s obviously inclined to not take what you did to him to heart, but I can’t get over it! Miss Moore, you were really rude to him. Don’t you think he deserves an apology?”
