Chapter 582 Death Glare

Tamara raised her head and turned her gaze to an area near a window a short distance away. Sebastian was speaking to someone. However, his dark gaze was pinned on her. His handsome, charming face exuded coldness. Tamara pursed her lips. James was curious. “What’s wrong?” “Nothing.” Tamara hurriedly retracted her gaze, then smiled gently. “I remember you mentioned something about having your own workshop, right? Where is it located?” James answered, “It’s actually a TikTok studio. I recruited some enthusiasts passionate about filming TikToks and writing scripts. Everything’s been going good so far.” Hearing that, Tamara was taken aback. TikTok videos… They had worked together to make TikTok videos in the past. Tamara’s TikTok account had morphed from one that only posted epic transitions in sync with music rhythm to one that posted drama-like content. However, they had only been able to post drama-like videos for two short weeks before giving up on the project altogether. It was because so much had happened since then. Tamara took out her phone and logged into her TikTok account, which she had long since abandoned. Once she logged in, her phone almost died from the lag. She had over 999 likes, comments, and private messages. It took her a long time to get the application to work properly. “It has been four years. I didn’t think anyone would still be waiting for me to post new content,” Tamara said in awe. James nodded. “You garnered a lot of fans from the epic transitions you used to do before. Those videos are one of the most viewed, you know. You later became involved in drama-like videos, which increased your popularity and viewership. Have you considered returning to the platform?” Tamara smiled and shook her head. “I want to focus on my children for the time being.” James was startled to hear that and said, “I haven’t even congratulated you. I suppose your kids must look a lot like you, huh? They must be really beautiful and adorable.” He was blatantly praising her. Tamara’s clear eyes twinkled, then said, “You can see for yourself when you meet them.” After saying that, she felt a colder gaze directed at her. Tamara reached out to smooth her hair down. She glanced at Sebastian and saw that the man’s expression had darkened significantly. Jeremiah, who was sitting across from him, was intrigued enough to turn around and look at her as well. He was perplexed as to why Sebastian’s mood had suddenly dampened. Upon turning back, he spotted Tamara chatting with another man. Jeremiah cocked a brow, then said, “Seb, you shouldn’t be sulking at a time like this. You have to storm over there and reclaim what’s yours!” After he said that, Sebastian, who had been sitting stiffly opposite him, suddenly got out of his seat and stormed away. When Tamara saw the man approaching her, her expression faltered. There was a small smile on her face. James sensed that something was off and turned to look behind him. He saw that Sebastian was walking toward them. “Oh, President Custry, it’s you!” James smiled. At this moment, Margot returned. “What a coincidence! I didn’t know you’d be here too, Young Mr. Lynch,” Margot teased as she walked past Sebastian. After Margot took the seat next to Tamara, Sebastian inched closer to her menacingly. His eyes, dark as midnight, were cold as he shifted his gaze over Margot. The man’s hostility washed over Margot in waves. She desperately wanted to get away from him. “What are you trying to do?” Tamara held Margot down. “Don’t you dare get up.” Margot was rendered silent. She was suddenly aware of an icy glare directed at her head. Would it really be okay if she remained seated next to Tamara? “Tammy, let’s not be so hostile. We’re all acquainted here, aren’t we?” Margot said optimistically. After all, Sebastian’s death glare was still on her. Margot was worried that the man’s glare would burn a hole through her head at any moment.
