Chapter 18
Once again, I was at the fitting suite only this time, I didn't come alone. I had someone with me, the one person I am meant to spend the rest of my life with.
Wearing the wedding dress, I felt whole again. This was how it was meant to be; me being the bride and my mate waiting to gush over me in my wedding dress.
All that had happened in the last few days were just minor rocks that I had to kick away to walk down the road to my destiny. There was no more distractions or hurdles.
The day was meant for me and me alone.
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't abandon the life I had as the Emerson's daughter. I love them and craved for their warmth so much even though they acted differently.
Now that they were finally acting the way they should, I couldn't bear to turn away. This is all I've ever wanted and it was finally coming true like the moon goddess had heard my prayers.
The dress had been mended to my size so it fit perfectly when I put it on. I took in a deep breath
