Chapter 47 – Bliss

Gabriel and Rosalie discovered what appeared to be a deserted pack house when they got back to Golden Iris. When they entered, the atmosphere was unsettling and unappealing. It was obvious that something was happening there, as if a spiritual conflict had broken out and everyone had lost their souls. "Gaby, do you feel this too?" She enquired of her mate. It appears as though we are visiting the pack house for the first time." She did her best to express how she felt, "It's so cold and empty here." They looked over the kitchen and entertainment area, the dining room, and the back porch, which was often crowded. There was not a wolf in the area. They exchanged startled glances. Clearly, something was happening here. "Babe, have you tried to reach your father?" She enquired.
