Chapter 60
UNKNOWN POV!
The city was quiet, but only on the surface. I could feel the pulse underneath restless, angry, waiting. Rumors had already spread. El Diablo wasn’t dead. Not really. People froze at the mere mention of El Diablo's name. It was like a specter from the past, emerging from the darkness to shatter everything.
I stood on the edge of the night, watching. I stood on the edge of the night, waiting for the right moment to strike.
It started small. Almost invisible.
The shipment disappeared completely.
“They say El Diablo’s crew took it,” a crackling voice whispered on the phone.
“No way,” came the nervous reply. “El Diablo’s dead. That’s just a story.”
I smiled, knowing exactly how wrong they were.
They thought it was a joke. A myth.
They didn’t know the nightmare was still breathing.
I found the young fools who took the shipment. They were overconfident, believing they were in control of the city.
One laughed, loud and stupid.
“Who’s going to stop us? Camila’s boys? They’re weak.
