Judy’s POV I was surprised when he returned with a red solo cup of water. I was expecting a water bottle or something, but he didn’t seem to be fazed by it and he handed it to me with a grin. I glanced in the cup but sure enough, I saw clear liquid. It didn’t smell like anything either, so I relaxed a little and smiled gratefully at him. “Thank you,” I told him as I brought the cup to my lips. The taste was a little off… I crinkled my nose and stared back at the cup before looking up at him. “It’s non-filtered,” he explained. “We don’t have any filtered water right now. We just ran out.” I nodded; that did make sense. I took another sip; though, it tasted strange, it felt good in comparison to the beer. As I drank a bit more, I looked up at him and he saw that he was watching me with a curious expression on his face. “So, are you seeing anybody?” he asked.
