Judy’s POV
“I’ll come with you,” I said before I could think better of it.
Gavin raised his brows.
“Weren’t you just telling me that you weren’t feeling good?” He asked as he rested his warm palms on my belly, feeling our baby's soft flutter. “Maybe you should just get into bed and rest. I can have someone bring you soup later.”
“No, I’m feeling fine,” I tell him, a bit hurriedly. “It’s passing. I think it was just a little gas or something. Nothing to be alarmed about. We can go to the packhouse.”
He stared at me for a moment longer, a crease forming between his brows.
“Are you sure?” He asked after a moment of pause.
I nodded.
“Yes,” I said, wrapping my arms around his waist and pulling myself close to his chest as I peered up at him. “I want to go to the packhouse with you and see what the situation is. Maybe I can help. I am going to be the Luna after all... so I should be prepared for stuff like this.”
