Chapter 4

The scientist approached his bosses' office to discuss his finding with his two test subjects. Of course, he was able to establish some facts while studying the off creatures but he was sure that his boss would not be impressed with his work. His clipboard was clutched tightly in his hands, knuckles white with a feeling of dread, as he entered his bosses' quarters. "You have your findings prepared, I presume." His boss spun the chair around, a shadowed falling across his face. His eyes captured a stray ray of light, illuminating his scrutinizing stare. "Yes, I've prepared a list of the experiments I performed on both Subject 10 and Subject 18. I kept them separate and even extended their distance apart after each trial. The trials alternated between them and their reactions were monitored closely." He watched as his superior flipped through the pages, eyes scanning his work, not letting and emotion on his face. This made the scientist even more nervous.
