Moira's POV
Zac pulled my arm just as I was about to leave the Tribune. He asked me to stay until the end. I was reluctant, but I forced myself to obey his request after he clasped his hands to his chest and said, "Please."
He always did that. From the beginning, only Grandma and Zac ever appreciated my presence in their family. Even though Jude's mother and sister belittled me, Zac and Grandma always defended me and stood by my side, though it didn't make much difference because, after all, Jude was the pack leader, and his decisions were final.
No one dared to argue. Even though Grandma had a say as an elder, she never managed to make things better. When it came to matters of the heart, no one could do anything.
