Carrie’s Point of View "I was going to get you out of this, Luna!" Marcus told me in between gasps of pain. "Why are you doing this despite my warning?" He feebly fought against mine and Brigit's grasps on his hands, but there was nothing he could do. Despite his extra strength, he was useless at the moment. I knew Marcus was egging me on, but I couldn't help respond. There was some part of me that felt bad for doing this to him. However, that part wasn't stronger than my need for freedom permanently. "I'm going to free myself from the grasp of potion that Lucas forced me to have Marcus. I'm sorry." I panted out my reply while tugging and pulling Marcus along the grass. Marcus attempted to reply to me once more, but Brigit paused and twisted his arm towards his back. He screamed in agony as the skin twisted around the knives embedded there. Once she was satisfied he got the message, she brought his arm back to normal and kept walking. The rest of the journey was silent as Marcus faded
