Carrie’s Point of View
It would have been hours had passed since I had to Jace and I fell asleep. I was still in the car but Jace was nowhere to be seen. I stretched out immediately and surveyed the surroundings.
Great. All I could was a pile of junk and some old cars parked. It seemed like the cars were never used as the rusts were visible and probably left to decay.
With a quick sniff of the air and no scent of enemies, I opened up the door and hopped out. I started to walk and decided to find Jace. The guy loved to appear and disappear the moment I closed my eyes.
I walked further from the car and found a two-story old building. I don’t have any problem with the dark since I can perfectly see as clearly as the day.
It was run down and looked like some sort of abandoned office building.
The once-new wooden paneling now stood moldy and breaking along the structure. I was surprised it was still standing. I peered in windows to find no lights inside the rustic place, although I did hear
