Chapter SEVENTY- THREE
TORN
YRENE'S POV.
I became dumbfounded, as I stared at all four of them. Then Eileen tried to stand, but staggered, falling on the table, and causing more harm to the dishes, and jug of water.
The brothers all got to their feet trying to help her, but she refused their help.
“Why would you stick your leg out when I'm innocently passing by?”
“Why did I stick my leg out? I was walking. There's no way I could have stuck my leg out.” I defended myself, regaining my tongue quickly.
“Wow. So you're going to be like this, uh? Didn't think you were the type to lie.” She spat, staring at me like I had really tripped her.
I began to wonder if I had accidentally tripped her, but that was impossible. I didn't feel anything, tripping over my foot. She had pushed herself forward.
“I'm not lying!” I retorted, looking at the triplets, and they looked a little torn. Like they didn't know whom to believe. Although I was very sure, they believed Eileen by Eighty-eight percent.
