DRASTIC DECISION
YRENE'S POV.
I needed them to believe me. Why would I put nuts into Eileen's food when I knew she was allergic to it? It was Eileen that could do such, and I knew she had done it so she could succeed in her mission of turning the brothers against me.
They came down from the stairs with an expression I couldn't comprehend. I had to defend myself.
Before Ethan could say another word after calling my name, I had told them the truth. I didn't do it. I needed them to believe me.
But of course, they didn't.
“Why do you keep saying you didn't do it?” Reece snapped, and I knew it was the start of me being painted as the villain.
“Do you know how many times I've been hearing you say this for like the past two weeks?” He continued and I shook my head vigorously.
“I didn't.” I told them desperately. “I know she's allergic to nuts, so why would I? Believe me, please.”
“Yes, you know she's allergic to nuts, and that's why you put it into her food.” Kaden said, with a sigh.
