Jackson honestly looked like a love-drunk lunatic right now.
The moment I saw him lift his foot to leave, I dropped to my knees. "Alpha! Please, just think this over!"
His alpha pressure was suffocating, but I had no choice—I had to speak out.
Jackson’s face was dark as he bent down to grab his phone, then turned to leave without a word.
I jumped up and stood in his way. "Wait, Alpha. Just hold on. I really think we should go over Ella’s account again. Maybe there’s something we missed?"
Trying to convince him, I quickly pulled out my phone and searched up Ella Miller’s profile—but it was completely blank.
I scrolled like crazy, but there was nothing.
The words I had lined up all jammed in my throat, and I just stood there like an idiot, swiping up and down. "What the hell? Why can’t I see her page?"
