Chapter 7
Jonah stood up, said with an aloof attitude, "Nothing serious. She can go back for shooting tomorrow."
"Ronaim, remember, you haven't got divorced yet! If you can't wait to throw yourself into someone else's arms, just sign the divorce agreement. Then you can do whatever you want! " Nathan said coldly, walking out of the ward. For some reason, he felt Jonah so annoying standing in front of Ronaim like a protector.
"Ronaim," whispered Karen, "You'd better keep your secret. I'll let you go this time. Don't make me find another chance."
After she said that, she went out to catch up with Nathan.
Ronaim lifted the quilt and got up. She closed her eyes, feeling down.
In the evening, the doctor arranged for a detailed check-up for Ronaim. She cared about her baby so much, so she followed exactly the doctor's orders and went to have the examinations.
However, out of her expectation, before she went into the examination room, she saw Karen standing in the corridor, holding an ultrasonic scan examination notice. With a gloating smile, she walked slowly to Ronaim. "I know, you're pregnant, b*tch. If I tell Nathan, the little b*stard will definitely die soon!"
Ronaim rushed to her to get it back at once.
Karen raised her arm and laughed complacently. "You think without it, Nathan wouldn't know about it? Nathan has shares in this hospital, he could know everything if he wants."
Ronaim's eyes filled with hatred. She stared at Karen and said, "What are you going to do?"
Karen was smiling, but at the bottom of her eyes was deep disgust, "Kneel down, beg me. Maybe I can consider keeping it a secret for you."
Ronaim gritted her teeth and knelt down with a plop. "Please."
"Oh, is that the right attitude to ask for a favor?" Karen bent down, reached out her hand to pat Ronaim's cheek, and lifted her chin with her forefinger. "Do you want me to teach you how to beg others?"
Ronaim clenched her fist and took a deep breath. "Karen, the child in my belly is innocent. Please keep the secret for me."
"That's not enough." She took out her cell phone and looked like she was going to call.
"Oh, I beg you, please!" Ronaim moved forward while kneeling and hugged Karen's leg. "Don't call Nathan. I beg you. Let go of me for this time..."
She was afraid that Karen would not be satisfied and started to kowtow.
Her forehead was red and swollen after hitting the floor a few times.
"Haha, good, good." Karen tilted her head and laughed. She dragged Ronaim up. "You're doing well. I promise you I will think it over...But you are pregnant. It is a big deal. If I help you keep this secret, later Nathan knew he will blame me..."
"Karen!" Ronaim was so angry that she wanted to scratch her hypocritical face.
"Don't be angry. I've thought about it. I'll keep the secret for you, but..." Karen's eyes moved quickly and she leaned close to Ronaim's ear and whispered to her something that only the two of them could hear.
Upon hearing what she said, Ronaim bit her lips hard until she tasted the smell of blood.
'Karen, you b*tch. If I do what you said, I will ruin whatever I have presently.
But what else can I do? I have no choice.'
