Chapter 117
Alysia's POV
A small groan slid past my lips as I slowly peeled my eyes open. My eyelids were heavy, and it was a hassle trying to keep them from closing shut again in less than a couple of seconds, but somehow, I was able to do it. My vision was hazy, but luckily for me, all I had to do was blink back a couple of times.
Slowly but surely, I started making out the shapes and colors that outlined where I was. It took a while, but eventually I figured out I was in my bedroom. The curtains were half drawn, allowing the right amount of sunlight to come in. My eyes did a quick sweep of the place and it looked like everything was in order. With the duvet wrapped warmly around me, I turned to my side, just to see Damon's part of the bed empty.
