Sebastian rushed into the underground parking lot.
Tonight, Elaria had driven the white Phantom, but the car was completely empty-she wasn't inside.
He yanked at the door, then gave up with a sigh.
Sliding into his own car, Sebastian prepared to drive around and search for her. Anxiety was eating at him-he needed to find her, now.
Just as he was about to start the engine, his phone buzzed. The screen lit up with a call from Genvara.

He stared at the name for a few seconds, then answered. Her soft voice came through almost instantly.
"Sebastian, I'm so sorry... Bianca caused trouble again."
"I heard about what happened tonight. My parents crossed the line with your wife... I apologize on their behalf. Please don't be mad at them-they've done so much for me all these years."
"Sebastian, if only I hadn't been so sick back then..."
He cut her off before she could say more.
Holding the phone, his face was unreadable, calm but distant. "I'll handle it. Goodbye."
