Chapter 34

Kay It's been a week since I got discharged from the hospital and living with Carl My body is taking its time to heal, and I can't complain cause Carl is always here to take care of me. My grandfather is still missing, and no one knows his whereabouts. I still can't believe he took the sword he had gifted me. Andrea is still in the cells, and I am yet to visit her. The only problem is that I am not allowed out of this room. Carl has been working from home, and his office is attached to his room, so any slight movement compels him to rush back here. Until he's convinced that I'm good and I can defend myself if need be, I'm stuck here. My dad visits often, and I can tell that everything that is happening is worrying him a lot. I wish I could help him, but I can only do that when I am healed. Theo has been keeping an eye on my room at our house through the cameras we installed, and everything is the way I left them.
