"No idea. I'm heading back," Curtis said. He snatched his jacket and stalked toward the door.
Left behind, James caught Nate's sullen look and dropped his eyes.
"If you want to know about Jenna, why not just call her? You two are tight, right? No need to go squeezing Curtis for details."
Nate muttered, "I just wanted to remind him to divorce that bitch Marceline soon. Jen has been waiting for him for years. She deserves better.
"If he keeps stringing her along while playing the doting husband with Marceline, then he's nothing but scum."
James frowned but didn't say a word.
