Rose’s POV
Adrian looked guilty as he held my hands “I’m so sorry, Rose. All this happened because I pushed Sabrina near me to avoid you. I never imagined that it would backfire.”
“It’s okay...” I mumbled.
“No…it’s not okay. I’m so pissed off with myself that I want to kill her. What would have happened to you if I hadn’t arrived on time?”
Adrian cradled my face as he searched my eyes. I couldn’t look away even if I wanted. Since I came back, he’s been so clingy. I almost didn’t recognize the no nonsense man that I once met in the club.
I just wished that we could stay like this forever. I’ve waited for him for so long
“You couldn’t have predicted this …” I comforted as I gently caressed his cheeks. I’ve gained confidence and I could touch him without him giving me odd looks. I wanted to be with him. I was sure that he was the man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
“Roman, can you get Rose a glass of water?” Adrian suddenly said and I raised an eye brow. I hadn’t even req
