It’s been a week and I still couldn’t believe it –that Adrian had finally chosen to accept me as his woman. The thought left my heart pounding so hard on my chest. I don’t ever remember any time in my life that I had felt these intense emotions in my body. And it was real! No part of this was a dream. The unwanted fiancé finally got attention of the most sought-after man in the city. But I didn’t care about his status. All I wanted was him, nothing more or less.
