"There must be," Kathleen said, though she wasn't entirely sure. After all, she'd had her share of bad experiences with people.
Chelsey tilted her head. "Do you still want to have a child with Shawn?"
Kathleen shook her head. "Never really thought about it. It was just an argument."
"I knew it. Without feelings, how can you bring a child into this? Isn't that like rape?"
Kathleen smiled. "That's exactly it."
Arguing about having a child with Shawn was like demanding to rape him. No wonder he wasn't exactly thrilled.
"You really don't want a divorce?" Chelsey asked. "Divorce and widowhood are totally different things."
"I brought it up today. He refused."
Chelsey turned sideways, curious. "What happened?"
Kathleen shrugged. "Who knows what he's thinking? Maybe he just wants to get back at me for marrying him without his consent in the first place."
"Then, figure something out. Get the divorce," Chelsey said, worried.
"I don't care. If he won't leave, then he won't." Kathleen
