As Lorraine dragged her suitcase toward the boarding gate, she heard a commotion from a distance.
A group of casually dressed middle-aged men and women were arguing, their voices sharp enough to pierce the terminal.
"We didn't get first-class tickets! Why should we pay extra?"
"I don't care! This ticket goes through at full price, and we're sitting in first class, no arguments!"
A small crowd quickly gathered, with some people taking out their phones to record the scene, while others whispered to each other.
Lorraine frowned but kept walking. She never liked getting involved in these kinds of scenes. She just wanted to finish check-in and rest.
At that moment, a figure suddenly moved through the edge of the crowd.
