Chapter One Hundred and Twenty Seven: A Day Off Balance

I arrived home after dining in a restaurant. The doors unlocked with a beep sound after I inputed the pass code, and I walked in.
I toed off my heels and sauntered into the sitting room.
I didn't like how stuffy the air in the room felt
The house hadn't undergone any major cleaning since Mrs. Sherlock left.
I've only done a few surface cleaning to make it look presentable and not repel me.
But the sanitation wasn't thorough.
I would need to start looking out for a new house help.
Or I could ask Grandpa to transfer some of his trusted staff over.
He had more than enough to spare.
I puffed air through my nose, unable to inhale the air.
I had cleaned the dishes, vacuumed the floors–but it was only a few parts.
I didn't have all the time in the world to be cleaning the whole house.
After relaxing for a while, I stood up and went to grab the air freshener.
I sprayed every part of the house with it.
That should dispel some of that bad scent off.
