I seethed in annoyance when I got into my office. I couldn't believe her attitude.
How could a woman have an inflated ego like she did?
I berated myself for greeting her first. CEO Johnson had warned to watch it around here.
The humiliation I sought wouldn't let me, and now that I had gotten it, my body had settled.
I hissed again, my stomach rolling.
Embarrassment clouded me like a second skin.
Thank God no one had been around us when I greeted her, or I would have been more livid with rage.
It was alright if that was the game she wanted to play.
She wanted to make an enemy of her employees.

A knock erupted on the door, and I looked at it, watching as my team members walked into my office.
