Before Xavia could place her palm against his forehead, Stefan suddenly opened his eyes before grabbing her by the wrist! His hand was burning hot, and it was startling for Xavia, to say the least! Either way, when Stefan saw that it was her, he looked utterly confused as he loosened his grip while asking, “…X-Xavia…? What are you doing here…?” Frowning in response, Xavia then replied, “…You sent me a text to come over, remember?” “You… what…? I’m only here since I headed to Lady Burton’s wake today… What happened after… I… I think someone drugged my drink…! And my phone! My phone was stolen and I couldn’t open the door…!” groaned Stefan as his memory came back to him. …But… if he couldn’t open the door earlier… Why was the door open for her? Had she been set up?! Now pale as a sheet, Xavia was quick to reply, “…Stay calm. I’ll get us out of this!” After saying that, Xavia slowly managed to put his arm around her shoulder… and after a considerable amount of struggling, she managed to get them to the door. To her dismay, the door wouldn’t budge at all! Now brimming with anxiety, the panicked Xavia said, “…D-don’t worry, I’ll just call the cops!” Alas, there was a new problem. Her phone wasn’t with her anymore! As she racked her mind as to where her phone could be, she suddenly remembered that she had bumped into a waitress earlier… Was… that part of the villain’s plan…?! As the panic-stricken woman continued wondering how to get them out of the situation, Stefan could feel the drug taking more and more control over his thoughts and body. It didn’t help that this sweet-smelling, petite woman was his first true love…! Since he was drugged, he knew he could get away scot-free regardless of what he did to her… However, he wasn’t about to let some drug get the best of him…! In the end, Stefan groaned before growling, “…Let… Let go of me, Xavia…! I need to use the bathroom… And no matter what happens, don’t follow after me…!” Before Xavia could reply, Stefan stumbled to his feet before rushing toward the bathroom door… Alas, even this door was locked! Unwilling to give up now, Stefan then kicked the door’s handle, causing the door to finally open! Following that, he rushed in and slammed the door behind him! Xavia didn’t even have any time to react when she heard something heavy scraping on the floor… and eventually hitting the door with a ‘thud’. He had successfully quarantined himself! Though Xavia hadn’t expected Stefan to do any of that, she knew that this was currently the best way to keep things under control. With that, she walked to the door before exclaiming, “Try freshening yourself up by dousing yourself in cold water! Don’t worry, I’ll get us out of this…!” With that said, Xavia quickly began looking around to see what could be done to help with their situation… Unfortunately, the door was heavily secured, and it was electronically locked as well! The window was out of the question too since they were currently on the sixty-eighth floor! It was evident that the mastermind had been meticulous with their arrangements! What was Xavia to do? If the drug was that strong, then Stefan could potentially die…! Just as she was racking her brains, a note suddenly slipped in from beneath the door. Raising a slight brow, Xavia then picked the note up… and it read, ‘You won’t find an antidote for the drug in there, and he’ll die if he doesn’t get medical attention soon. I may, however, provide an antidote if you allow Stefan to have his way with you…’ …His life…?! Now more worried than ever, Xavia began banging on the door while yelling, “Who’s outside?! Is that you, Jenna?! Open up or I swear I won’t let you off easily once I’m free…! I’ll tell the whole world about your misdoings, you hear?!” Unfortunately, no matter how much she yelled, there wasn’t any response. As expected, getting out of such a meticulous plan wasn’t going to be easy… That aside, could the villain be someone else instead…? All these thoughts only made Xavia more and more anxious…
