Chapter 931 Preposterous
Tyr landed on the floor. He flexed his neck and looked at Luc Mills.
"Even if you used the Red Spider, you are nothing but trash to me!"
Luc kneeled on the floor with holes on his body. Many of his bones were shattered by Tyr and the blood-red veins all over his body were quickly fading away, noticeable by the naked eye. The red glow in his eyes slowly disappeared as well.
Having returned to his senses, Luc remained on his knees and looked at Tyr. His face twisted in agony, and his eyes were filled with regret.
His lips moved as he wanted to speak, but instead he spat out a mouthful of blood, preventing him from speaking further.
With a loud crash, his head drooped as he collapsed onto the deck.
"We won! Luc Mills is finally dead!"
Chasing Wind, Isaiah Yoder, and the rest cheered exuberantly by the riverbanks.
After seeing Luc in that horrible state, they felt nothing but immense fear. After all, it was a sight nobody had ever seen. How could a regular human being turn into such monstrosity?
Fortunately, he was still miles behind Tyr in terms of fighting prowess, even if he had transformed into a freak.
Once again, Tyr had shown his capabilities, as it was a much more brutal sight to behold when he killed Spectre and Jumbo. To Chasing Wind and the rest, it was a side of Tyr they had never seen.
Kirin Summers, who had witnessed the fight, was frozen to the spot.
He was startled, and remained so for a long time.
Onyx and Ivory, and the rest of the people on the deck were caught completely off-guard. It was now they finally saw how powerful Tyr actually was. Only god knows how crazily powerful Tyr could be, even if he was only in his twenties.
Luc, who had consumed the Red Spider, could not even fight with Tyr. How crazy was that?
Complete silence engulfed the deck of the yacht. Everyone, including Black Reaper and White Reaper, dared not make a sound. Not only were they surprised by the turn of events but they actually feared Kirin.
He was a complete maniac and if anyone were to make a sound, they might just become a target in a firing range.
Arghhhhh!
Only after a long period of silence did Kirin finally yell in anger.
“Tyr Summers! I am going to kill you!”
Yelling angrily, Kirin glared at Tyr, who was over on the iron boat, in rage.
Even though they were a few hundred meters apart, their eyes locked onto each other with intense fury.
As Kirin shouted, Tyr responded calmly. His lips curled into a faint smile filled with disdain.
“You are not going anywhere!”
As if he had lost all reason and logic, Kirin yelled, “Everyone, get ready to attack the iron boat! I want the sniper of Kirin Squad to aim at Tyr Summers!”
“What?”
He shocked everyone with that one statement. Not just Black Reaper and White Reaper, but Thunderbird, captain of the Kirin Squad, too, were startled.
Thunderbird immediately approached Kirin and said to him solemnly, “Are you sure, Young Master? He is still Gate Master of Six Doors.
“Also, plenty of Six Doors’ associates are by the river banks, with guns and snipers in hand. If you do this, a brutal fight may just break out.
“This is bad for the Summers family.”
“Damn it!”
Kirin gave Thunderbird a tight slap and said, “Are you questioning my orders? Are you trying to defy me?
“I don’t care! I want Tyr Summers dead today!”
Descending into madness, Kirin was going completely out of his mind. Nothing else mattered, except his need to kill Tyr.
Even his desire to seize Tyr's bone marrow faded, only to be replaced by his intention for Tyr to die–whatever it took.
"Go! Go! Everyone, go! Charge at the iron boat! Sniper! Get ready to fire!"
Thunderbird and the rest were appalled by Kirin's behavior, but there was nothing they could do other than to obey. He had the Kirin Squad on standby, while the others on the speedboats by the front perimeter took out their guns and headed for Tyr as quickly as they could.
"What are they trying to do?"
Chasing Wind and Zillion were shocked to witness that with their own eyes.
Nobody expected Kirin to be so out of his mind, making such maniacal decisions.
It wouldn't be such a big deal if Tyr was just an ordinary human, but he was Gate Master of Six Doors! On top of that, there were so many associates watching on the riverbanks. Even as the first-in-line of the Summers family, Kirin shouldn't be so outrageous.
It was just ridiculous!
Tyr stood at the prow of the boat and looked at Kirin approaching steadily. He frowned deeply.
"He is indeed a maniac," Tyr muttered to himself. He frowned again as his sharp intuition made him realize that a sniper, situated on one of the incoming speedboats, had its aim locked onto his body.
However, he was not worried. He could easily dodge the bullet with this much of a distance between them.
'If you want to die, Kirin Summers, I shall fulfill it.'
The brothers had crossed the point of no return. Since Kirin wanted Tyr dead, there was no reason why Tyr should hesitate anymore. Why didn't he settle the feud once and for all on Pine River, this very day?
By the riverbanks, Chasing Wind and Zillion immediately ordered for their snipers to be aimed at Kirin.
Also, many of the associates rushed into the speedboats in full suits with guns in hand. They quickly headed into the waters for the iron boat.
Both sides were ready but none opened fire. They seemed to be waiting for their opponent to do so.
"Maniacs! They are a damned bunch of maniacs!"
Chasing Wind, Zillion, and the rest cursed as they sped toward the iron boat.
Other than Kirin himself, there was no one else as crazy as he was.
