Chapter 930 Monster
“Luc Mills?”
Horrified, Tyr did not expect Luc to turn into this abomination. However, it wasn’t long until he saw the needle, lodged in his neck with a few drops of red liquid remaining.
Tyr immediately understood.
‘He took the Red Spider.
‘And from what I see, it’s much more potent than any other regular Red Spider!’
Tyr drew a sharp breath. For one, he was shocked to see Luc in this state. On top of that, the realization that Red Spider was truly a dangerous drug, with effects similar to the drug created by Umbrella Corporation of Resident Evil.
In truth, Luc looked no different from a zombie or even a monster.
“What is that?”
When they saw the sudden appearance of a freak, Chasing Wind, Isaiah Yoder and the rest were shocked to their cores.
“It’s Luc Mills, he is still alive! But what happened to him actually?”
Their blood froze. It was a bad feeling, even if they were a few hundred meters away from the freak of a being.
Over at the yacht, however, Kirin Summers laughed after witnessing the turn of events.
“He used the Red Spider in the end.
“Perfect! Oh, this is amazing! Hahaha!”
Kirin was thrilled and danced around the deck like a maniac.
“Take him down, Luc Mills, take him down! Hahaha! His bone marrow! I want his bone marrow! I want the perfect Red Spider!
“Hahaha! Quick! Quick!”
Kirin revelled in the hysteria of the moment while Luc’s body began curling up. He bent forward, with limbs hanging, and breathed laboriously.
“Owoooo!”
A few seconds later, he leaned back, shaping his hands into the form of a claw and roared angrily into the sky.
It was as if Luc had lost all traces of sanity and logic.
Standing on the deck, Tyr looked at Luc by the wooden boat in shock.
This was why Green Dragon had come all the way to the north just to instruct him that the Red Spider was to be thoroughly investigated. It was too deadly to be left circulating, even for Tyr.
At the moment, Luc’s bloodshot eyes were fixated upon Tyr.
His eyes were red and he could not even see his surroundings clearly; he only had his eyes upon Tyr. There was only one thought in his mind–kill this man.
Roar!
Luc let out a beast-like cry. With a forceful stomp, the wooden boat sunk.
He shot out like a cannonbolt toward Tyr.
He was a monster, an insane and maniacal monster.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Luc jumped onto the deck, and with one hand balled up into a fist an the other spreaded out like a claw, he began attacking Tyr chaotically.
He was very fast and moved much quicker than he did before. So much so that it could not be observed by the ordinary human eye. Tyr felt the drastically-increasing threat and dodged Luc’s attack instinctively.
Arghhhhhh!
Fatigue and exhaustion were now concepts foreign to Luc. There was no pause nor delay in his attacks, as he moved about just like a robot.
Whoosh!
Swinging the Ormr Dagger around, Tyr stabbed Luc’s body with it. However, he didn’t seem to be in pain.
As if the blade didn’t just penetrate Luc’s skin.
“Hehehe…”
Luc laughed sinisterly and, taking advantage of the instance Tyr stabbed his body, grabbed Tyr’s throat and shoved him. Tyr slammed into the iron wall behind, which caved under the immense impact.
“Damn it!”
He pulled out the dagger and quickly stabbed Luc’s body a few more times.
Yet, Luc didn’t feel the pain but instead tightened his grip around Tyr’s throat.
In desperation, Tyr slashed the dagger across and chopped off Luc’s hand, before kicking him away.
He shoved the bloodied hand off his neck and looked at the growling Luc with a frown on his face.
“Monster.”
Seeing as things were, Tyr decided not to go head-to-head against Luc. When Luc charged, Tyr dodged and evaded.
With his remaining hand balled up into a fist, Luc began punching Tyr indiscriminately. Each and every blow was like a sledgehammer, smashing countless dents into the iron walls beside Tyr.
This went on for a half-minute, until Tyr leaped onto the roof of the boat.
Luc raised his head and looked at Tyr. He grunted and picked up the Golden Ring Knife lying on the floor.
He leaped into the air, brandishing the Golden Ring Knife and with a huge crash, forcefully cleaving open the roof.
Tyr managed to evade the blow and his temper finally exploded.
“You can only last for a few minutes after using drugs to enhance your powers, Luc Mills. Compared to Sachin Taylor’s outburst, you are too weak to even be compared.!”
Tyr let out a huge bellowing roar and threw the Ormr Dagger at Luc like a dart. The blade pierced clean through Luc’s chest, firmly lodged in the walls behind him.
Even with a big gaping hole on his chest, Luc remained standing.
However, perhaps the effects of the Super Red Spider had begun to subside as his manic outburst began to cool down.
Many of the veins showing on his body started to fade away.
Luc seemed to have finally felt the pain as he looked even more grotesque.
He swung the Golden Ring Knife wildly around, but could not hit Tyr no matter how much he tried.
Tyr closed the distance between himself and Luc in lightning speed and threw out a flurry of punches, forcing him off the roof onto the deck.
For the last blow, he leaped high up into the sky and drove his fist down onto Luc’s skull as he fell.
Crack!
It was the sound of bones cracking. Blood flowed out of Luc’s orifices, and his arms flailed around before he collapsed onto the ground.
