The food and beer party was set up right next to the university town. And just like Matthew had guessed, the food stalls were lined up neatly, offering snacks from all over the country. The food looked okay at first glance, but once you took in the chaotic environment, it seriously killed the appetite.
Thankfully, the dining area was separated, filled with simple wooden tables and plastic chairs. Matthew, dressed in an all-black tracksuit, picked the most inconspicuous corner to sit down.
Lucas glanced around. The whole place was empty, just the two of them there.
"Boss, aren’t we a bit too early?” Lucas checked his watch. The party wouldn’t start for another hour.
Matthew didn’t even look at him, eyes glued to the entrance of the dining zone, his voice cold: “Early? No such thing. Go check out what food’s here and grab a crate of beer.”
