Chapter 18
Third-Person POV:
Silas ended up staying at Roxanne's grave until nightfall because he didn't want to return to a house devoid of her. He even snuck away to hide from the staff when they did their rounds and returned when it was deeper into the night.
The breeze billowed through the cemetery as an eerie atmosphere filled the area.
But Silas wasn't afraid at all, because the woman buried here was someone he longed day and night to see.
Silas lay beside the grave and gently caressed the cold stone. He felt a sense of peace he'd never felt before.
He soon fell asleep, lulled by the night breeze.

When Silas next awoke, he found himself lying in a bed.
Warm sunlight streamed in through the windows and lit up the room. Based on the familiar furniture in his surroundings, Silas concluded that he was back in his villa.
When did he come back here? He clearly remembered being in the cemetery…
