Chapter 277 Relax, You’re Too Nervous

As this was her first time, Sophia was in so much pain that her forehead broke out in a cold sweat. She clasped his shoulders with her hands and could not endure the intense pain and dug her nails into her back, marking out a very long line. She bit her lip and wanted to pull back, but he pressed his hands on her waist, not giving her a chance to retreat at all. Charles was fired up. The blue veins on his forearm started bulging from his forbearance. Huge drops of sweat were flowing along his slightly buff muscles onto Sophia's body. The scene was ambiguous and carried traces of eroticism. "Be good. It will be over soon." Charles pulled her hair away and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead. Sophia was panting heavily beneath him, a cold sweat breaking out on her forehead constantly. "Don’t move… first. It hurts." He dared not move at all. He simply held back his desire and kissed her body gently to help her relax. When she nodded and said okay, he began moving slowly with labored breathing… A night of passion. Sophia did not have a good rest and woke up at the break of dawn. Her limbs and bones were weak and sore. She grimaced and turned her body slightly, but was in so much pain that she drew in a mouthful of cold air instead. "You’re awake?" Charles had woken up a long ago. He was currently propping up his right elbow on the pillow, turning sideways to look at her. Seeing that she was awake, he shifted to her side and pecked her on the lips, traces of smile stained his eyes. Sophia had just opened her eyes and was not exactly clear-headed yet. When his kiss landed on her lips, Sophia’s eyes widened, looking slightly more awake now. As she was not used to having a man lying next to her early in the morning, one who had even performed such an intimate act with her... She sprung up on the bed and pulled a distance between them subconsciously. Pain. It felt like she was being run over by a car—weak, sore, and slightly drained. Sophia frowned and bent her waist slightly. The diminishing force on her waist had reduced the soreness on it. "Are you hungry?" Charles' eyes flickered when he picked up her movement. Despite that, he did not say anything. "I'll go downstairs to fix you something to eat. You can lie down a bit more." He lifted the blanket and got out of bed in front of Sophia without feeling the slightest embarrassment and began to dress himself. There was no denying that Charles had a very nice figure. There were defined muscles on his body but not to the point where they were greatly exaggerated, every single muscle on his body was just the right size. His shoulders were broad, the shape of his upper body was a perfect inverted triangle, a wasp waist, perky buttocks, and long legs. Every part of his muscle was interlaced with an aura of strong hormones. Sophia watched him put on his underwear only to realize that she had been staring at him a little too long. She then looked away with a burst of heat on her face. "Come here," Charles said suddenly after he was done getting dressed. Sophia gently rubbed her waist twice, then glanced at the distance between them. It was more than a meter long. "I don't feel like moving." "The sheets are stained, do you think you can continue sleeping here?" Charles raised his eyebrows slightly, went around to her side before she could say anything, and picked her up along with the blanket. He was already very careful when he picked her up, but when she returned to the bed again, her back and thighs that he had just touched still felt very sore and painful. Sophia sat up, propped two pillows up, and leaned against them, trying to massage her waist to ease her discomfort. However, being in a sitting posture made her waist very uncomfortable. Not only that, but her arms were also so sore that she could not even exert any strength when she massaged her waist. Sophia glanced at the specks and spots of red marks on her arm, pursed her lips, and laid on the bed again. There was not a single piece of fabric on her body. Just like that, she laid bare on the bed that Charles had slept on. Every fiber in her body was so uncomfortable, hence she could not even fall asleep. After a while, Charles came up with her meal in his hands, and Yvette following behind him. When she saw Sophia lying on the bed, her bare skin filled with ambiguous red marks, there was a slightly complicated look on Yvette’s face. There was a look of surprise, confusion, and some other inexplicable emotions. "Aunt Harris." Seeing that Yvette was also here, Sophia was slightly startled and then sat up in a slightly awkward manner. She tried her best to cover her body with the blanket lest things got even more awkward if Yvette saw it. Even so, she had a feeling that Aunt Harris had seen her clear as day when she walked in… "Just lie down if it’s uncomfortable." Yvette put her purse down, walked to the side of the bed, and helped Sophia to lie down. Sophia looked at her and dropped her eyes. She said with a hoarse voice, "...I'm sorry, Aunt Harris." She was now tied to Charles and had become a burden to him. "You didn’t do anything wrong." Yvette stroked her head twice. "Charles is the one who has chosen all this. He has no right to complain no matter what happens in the future." Charles put the food on the table. After considering the fact that it would be inconvenient for Sophia to eat while she was not dressed, he said, "You wanted to tell me something, Mom?" "Yeah." Yvette stood up and smiled at Sophia. "Don't think too much, Soph. Have your meal first. Charles and I are going downstairs to discuss some matters." Sophia nodded. Yvette walked out with Charles. After the door was closed, she sighed and whispered, "You and Sophia shouldn’t be together right now." "Have you had something to eat, Mom? Do you want to eat together?" Charles walked down the stairs. He did not answer her. After going to the dining room together, Charles brought out a few side dishes, then served a bowl of duck porridge for each of them. Yvette picked up the spoon and put it down again. She had no appetite at all. "You don't have any shares right now, nor are you Harris Corporation’s president. Why did you drag Soph down when you can't even fend for yourself? I really have no idea what you’re thinking about in that head of yours." "Mom, are you worried that I can’t protect Sophia, or are you worried that she will hold me back?" Charles grabbed a bunch of dishes with his chopsticks, chewing slowly. Yvette did not answer his question but said instead, "No matter what reason it is, you and Soph aren’t suitable for each other right now." "It has never been a question of suitability, but a question of whether we want it or not," Charles said. Yvette frowned and took a sip of porridge. "Last night, the two of you only just started..." She did not go on. "Yeah." Charles nodded. "You’re simply impossible..." Yvette put the spoon into the porridge bowl and said with concern, "How are you going to explain it to your grandpa when the child is two months overdue?"
