Gabriel raised an eyebrow. "You don't sound like someone who isn't mad."
Even with his not-so-sharp EQ, he could still catch the sarcasm in Lilah's tone.
"I told you, I don't have the right to be upset. You're the one who should be annoyed. I mean, I fed Aiden junk food, which was totally irresponsible, right?" she said, arms crossed.
Gabriel fell silent.
Lilah felt her heart sink a little more with that silence. "So, you are mad at me, aren't you?"
She didn't need Violet to point out that fast food wasn't exactly healthy.
She obviously knew that home-cooked food was way better.
But it's not like she randomly gave it to Aiden.
He passed his piano audition and picked fast food as his reward.
