"Carina." A woman steps forward and I recognize her immediately from that night back at my old pack. "I am Ana, I am the leader here, I wanted to extend a hand of goodwill to you and invite you to join the Black Guard in our training. I've heard you are a worthy warrior, we would be delighted to have you." Her Russian accent is thick and her stance intimidating. I smile at the challenge. "I'd be honored to train with such fierce men and women." I stick my hand out to her and she reaches out, firmly shaking it. "Let's then." She pulls me towards the the group. "Brother, Don't!" I whip around to see Danyal stalking towards me, Roman scampering behind him. "Brother!" Roman grabs onto Danyal's shoulder to pull. "She wants to be alone." Danyal turns to look at me, his eyes midnight black. His stare reaches my soul and tugs on the bond. I can't turn away from him. I can't run
