"No, I won't hurt you, let alone your child. Elaine, please don't say that. I know this is my child. I know." Elaine pushed Wesley away. "Stop playing the victim here. I'm the one who's been hurt by the Howard family, not you, Wesley. I'm warning you now, stay away from me, otherwise, I'll call the police. This isn't New York. This isn't the world of your Howard family." Elaine turned and left, not listening to any of Wesley's explanations. Those were meaningless now. She wouldn't soften her heart to this man anymore.
