Roseline’s POV After Isaac left, I walked back in to the room. Samantha threw her arms around me and hugged me tight. We held each other for a while. I’d missed her so much, I didn’t want to let go. If not for her busy job-demanding attention for numerous assignments from her boss, we ‘d probably be hanging out regularly. She choked a tear as she apologized “I’ m so sorry…...I’m so sorry, Rose. It wasn’t my wish to be gone for so long. I tried to reach you but the location that I visited had a terrible signal.” She hesitated to catch her breathe. “I regret not being there for you during your toughest moment— but I’m here now, we’ll get through it together.” I felt so lucky to have her as my friend.
