Julian and I went to the Stirling residence for dinner that night. His parents, Richard Stirling and Margaret Bennett, were as loving and grateful as always when they saw me. After dinner, Julian's assistant rushed over with a document in his hand. Julian accepted the document and took his time as he said, "Dad, Mom, I want to transfer all of my shares in Ascendia Group to Dari. Are you guys alright with that?" I looked at him in shock. Ascendia Group was at its peak, and he owned 60% of the shares, giving him majority control. Based on the market rate, his shares were at least ten billion dollars. On top of that, the company was the achievement he was most proud of. He had poured his heart and soul into it. Once, he had even said in an interview that he treated Ascendia Group as his own child. And he was just going to transfer everything to me out of the blue? To my surprise, Richard and Margaret were fully on board with him. "How about I transfer my shares to Dari as well?
