A toast to you.” With that, she held up her wine glass. Liam did not say much, simply clinked glasses with her and downed it all in one gulp. “And this is?” Harrison was looking at Janet as he inquired with a warm smile. Liam explained, softly and calmly, “My wife, Janet.” He lowered his head and said tenderly to Janet, “Jan, these are the Grahams.” Janet nodded courteously and smiled as well. “It’s an honor to meet Chairman Graham at last. A toast to you.” Her acquiescent manner clearly pleased Harrison a great deal. Therefore, although he was a little taken aback that Liam had gotten married without any fanfare, he still burst into a wide smile. “Good, good!” After echoing these words, he held up his glass and drank it all. Gideon was injured recently, but he’s fine now.” When Joseph heard that Gideon was hurt, his expression changed at once. “How did he get injured? Weren’t they on vacation abroad? Did something happen to them?” Liam said in a low voice, “Nothing major happened. If you wish to know more, why don’t you ask them.” With that, he told Joseph how to get in touch with Nell and Gideon who were still abroad. Joseph was slightly more reassured. After the party, he gave Nell a call. At the moment, Nell had just sent away Mr. Jeeves of the Griffin family. It was just a small accident. You don’t have to worry so much.” There was silence on the other end of the call. “Tell me the truth. Did you go to investigate the Violette Clan?” Nell pursed her lips slightly. After a moment, she laughed gently. “Uncle, in the past, I was indeed highly interested in what happened to my biological father, but you should understand that my interest only went as far as asking you what happened back then. “What’s gone is gone. He’s been dead for so many years. Why should I track down his family? To put them through the wringer?” Joseph paused for a moment. Then he scoffed in irritation. “Who knows what a young girl like you has in mind.” Nell beamed. “I’ll just take that as a compliment.” “You…” Joseph sighed powerlessly. “Okay, you win, but I’m happy to hear that you’re fine.
