"Hell yes you won." Jaxson laughed before turning to face Richard. "And you thought she'd need more time." "It wasn't time she needed, it was a distraction." A distraction? What the hell was he talking about? Jaxson nodded his head in agreement, oblivious to the fact that I had no idea what they were talking about. Richard on the other hand seemed to notice my confusion. "You were too focused on what you were doing, whether you were doing it right or wrong and where Jaxson was. You thought about everything too much when you should have let it all happen naturally." I tried to make sense of what he was telling me. "Let me get this straight, you kept me talking to take my mind of running so that I could run better?" Richard chuckled and nodded. "It's not exactly how I'd put it, but yes, that's what I did." Smiling, he turned his back on us and began walking towards the Harbour Pack house whilst Jaxson stirred us in the opposite direction.
