"He's so small," I commented. She nodded, but I could tell she was still distracted by Dani's presence in the room. I had told Troy all about the situation - or what he needed to know, that is - but to Evan, she was still a complete stranger. "Evan, this is Dani, my..." I hesitated for a split second, unsure of what exactly Dani and I were considering the abrupt change within the last hour or so. "Girlfriend, but something tells me he's going to propose soon," Dani cut in, a knowing smile pulling at her lips as she met my eyes. A huge smile split my face as a warm feeling encompassed my chest. I love this woman so much. Cooper began to whimper and squirm in my arms, so I quickly handed him off to his father as I was completely unsure of what to do at that moment. "So...have you gotten your bachelor pad baby-proofed yet?" Evan inquired before her attention was immediately pulled to Ellie as she entered the room with a bag full of greasy fast food in her hand.
