Miranda frowned and didn't snap out of her thoughts until Ivan returned. Even after three years of marriage, his feelings for her were just as strong as ever. "What's wrong?" he asked. "You seem upset." She pulled out the note she had found in Logan's backpack, her pulse quickening. "Ivan, who wrote this? Who's coming back? And why would someone put it in our Logan's bag? I can turn a blind eye to other things, but not when it comes to our kids!" He took her hand to comfort her. "Don't worry, maybe it was put there by mistake.
