Miranda was startled. "Mr. Talone, what are you doing here?" Mason always seemed to greet everyone with a friendly smile. But she couldn't shake the feeling that something dark lurked behind it. "Mrs. Astor, that's a strange question," he replied smoothly. "This is Sunvale Group's hotel. I'm the owner. Isn't it perfectly normal for me to be here?" Miranda couldn't argue with that logic.
