Seeing that Aidan was leaving, Laura scooted after him and asked, “Aidan, didn’t you say that you wanted to ask me something?” Alas, Aidan brushed her off coldly, “It’s alright, you can go back to take a rest. I need to be somewhere right now.” He then drove back to the hospital, where he found Travis seated on the bed in Richard’s room, fiddling nervously and anxiously with his hands. As soon as Aidan walked into the room, Robert stepped forward to greet him respectfully, “Second Young Master.” Aidan glared at Robert, “You’re getting bolder, hmm? Making your own decisions without asking for my permission now, are you?” Travis groaned, “Please, Aidan, leave Robert alone, he didn’t do anything,” he then admitted guiltily, “It was me who’d allowed Eddie to go see his father - I’m the one who’s responsible for everything that has happened.” “Travis…” Aidan growled. Travis couldn’t help but shudder at how intimidating and frightening Aidan sounded and looked even though the latter was his friend. “I...I just felt sorry for them...Richard, Eddie, and Eliana Harvey...you always torture Eliana so badly...I couldn’t help but feel sympathetic towards them.” “You couldn’t help but sympathize with them?: Aidan scoffed, “Please, Travis - don’t you know that you’re going to get her killed at this rate?” Travis couldn’t help but cock a brow at his friend, not understanding what he was trying to say. “Eliana doesn’t dare to die because I’ve been using Richard and Eddie to threaten her,” Aidan scowled, “Now that father and son have escaped...do you think that Eliana would still be afraid of going against me?” Travis couldn’t help but gulp at Aidan’s words - he hadn’t considered this at all. Aidan was right. “But Eddie and Eliana are very close - surely Eddie wouldn’t just leave Eliana here to die now, would he?” Travis countered. Alas, instead of responding to him, Aidan huffed and stormed out of the room. Robert nodded to Travis gratefully before hurriedly rushing after Aidan. After all, he would probably have lost his job had it not been for Travis stepping in and speaking up for him. “I don’t care whatever it may take, but I want them to be found no matter what - I want them alive and unharmed, or else…” Aidan growled. Robert nodded his head vigorously and reassured, “Yes, Second Young Master - I have already sent out many people to search for them. I will do everything that I can to make up for my careless mistake.” Aidan then went into Eliana’s room, where she was still ‘asleep’ - her cheeks were flushed red and her lips were pale and cracked due to her high fever...alas, the former was not going to spare the latter just because of the weak state that she was in. He leaned towards Eliana and whispered into her ear, “I’m certain that you were the one who’d plotted Eddie and Richard Harvey’s escape.” Eliana remained motionless and did not move a muscle - alas, she couldn’t help but stiffen up slightly when Aidan mentioned her father and brother’s escape. Aidan scorned, “Eliana, oh, Eliana, you crafty and treacherous woman - I can’t believe that I’d nearly been fooled by you.” Eliana remained motionless. Aidan grew irritated at this as he growled, “Do you really think that they will have a successful escape, huh?! No, not under my watch - I have the whole of the country of East Salavainstan under my control...they can never escape my grasp!” Aidan noticed that Eliana’s breathing was starting to become more shallow than before - he scoffed internally - Ha, the nerve of this vicious woman to continue pretending and acting as though she is completely innocent… Just then, Aidan turned to Robert and ordered - “I want you to announce to the whole city of Mallstrick that Eliana Harvey is dying...I want to see if the men of the Harvey Family would really just leave Eliana behind and run for their lives with their tails in between their legs like the cowards that they are.” Eddie won’t come back...would he? Eliana couldn’t help but wonder anxiously, I told him not to look back no matter what...I’m confident that he will listen to me. It’s alright, Eliana, don’t worry - Eddie won’t mess it up...he and dad will be alright… “Go ahead and continue to pretend as though you’re unconscious and can’t hear me,” Aidan drawled, “But I want you to think now - Eddie Harvey knocked a nurse out when he escaped with Richard Harvey. If he’s caught...how do you think I would punish him? Hmm, I would send him to prison since he’d assaulted someone...it’s what he deserves. I’m sure that the memory of prison is still fresh in your mind, Eliana - do you really want that for Eddie, hmm?”
