Rosalie knew there was no avoiding Josiah, so she brought him to a quieter spot, wanting to make things clear to him. She said, "I'm single, Josiah, but I don't think anything will happen between us." He looked at her in confusion. "Why? Why can't you try being with me?" At his stubbornness, Rosalie explained, "I'm divorced. I have an ex-husband." His confusion remained. After a brief silence, he realized she wasn't following up with anything else and asked, "Is that it? Is that the only reason you're stopping me from pursuing you?" She widened her eyes in disbelief. "Isn't that more than enough?" He said, "In this day and age, I'd be surprised if a woman as beautiful as you has never dated anyone before. I like you and don't care what happened in your past." Rosalie felt like her heart had just been given a good rub. Warmth enveloped her, and she couldn't stop her heart from racing as she looked at Josiah, who gave her a winning smile. He convinced her to skip work altogether s
