"You will pay for what you've done," I said, staring him down, enunciating every word. "You will stay locked in here forever. Your pack is finished. It will cease to exist."
I turned to the guard. "Lock the door!"
The guard stepped forward immediately. The iron door slammed shut with a final, deafening clang. Curses followed us from inside the cell. I didn't look back, taking Anna's arm and striding away.
