Chapter 125 Just a Fiancée
"Girlfriend? Mr. Daniel, you sure move fast." Katrina couldn't help but sneer, a bit drunk.
After all, they had been together for so long, and he had never introduced her to any friends.
Just from that, Katrina knew she had lost to Luna, lost completely.
Ignoring Katrina's words, Daniel turned to his male friend and explained, "She's not my girlfriend, she's my fiancée."
Being ignored and hearing that, Katrina felt uncomfortable in her heart.
She turned to leave, but Daniel stopped her.
"I have something to tell you."
The man who came to find someone was quite discerning. Seeing Daniel reaching out to stop Katrina, he disappeared on his own.
Katrina shook off Daniel's hand coldly. "If you have something to say, Mr. Howard, just say it. Don't touch me, so as not to give others the wrong idea, which is not good."
Facing Katrina's cold attitude, Daniel frowned.
He withdrew his hand and said to Katrina, "Luna, she confessed to me today."
Hearing these words, Katrina found it hard to breathe, feeling extremely uncomfortable. She forced a smile and asked Daniel, "Oh, why tell me? Is it related to me? Am I your mother?"
Daniel shook his head. "I thought you would be happy to see me with her."
Katrina replied, "Who you're with has nothing to do with me. I warn you not to appear in front of me again. I really dislike you now."
Daniel didn't understand. "Why do you dislike me? Weren't you saying you liked me yesterday?"
Katrina: ... Did that include in bed?
Daniel wouldn't give up until he got an answer. He continued, "Why do you suddenly hate me? Katrina, you can't treat me like this. Even if you want me to die, at least let me die understanding why."
Katrina felt extremely irritated now. She stepped forward, met Daniel's gaze, and said with a slight smile, "It's just a physical aversion. Just seeing you makes me want to throw up the wine I just drank. I was lying when I said I liked you before. I said it before."
After saying that, Katrina turned and left.
Unexpectedly, the man behind her was too proud. He pulled her back into his arms.
Her chin was held by a big hand, and then there was a fierce kiss.
Tears welled up in Katrina's eyes instantly. How could he treat her like this when he had a fiancée? Did he really see her as a plaything?
Feeling the wetness on the woman's face, Daniel panicked.
He just wanted to prove that she didn't reject him, especially her body.
But why was she crying?
Could it be that she really didn't like him anymore, so she couldn't stand him kissing her?
Daniel had heard that if a woman no longer liked a man, she would be very averse to physical intimacy with him.
So, all signs indicated that Katrina really hated him now.
"Don't cry, I won't kiss you anymore." Daniel reached out to wipe the tears from Katrina's face, but she dodged.
"Since you have a new girlfriend... no, fiancée." Katrina suddenly remembered Daniel's explanation to the man just now and changed her tone mockingly, "Since you have a fiancée, don't do things you shouldn't do to other women."
Daniel stared blankly at Katrina, feeling that she was now extremely unfamiliar.
Other women? Was she just another woman?
Clearly, she was the woman he had fought so hard to keep by his side, but why had everything changed overnight?
Daniel couldn't understand.
"Katrina, you're here too."
Suddenly, Luna's voice came from beside them. Katrina and Daniel turned to look.
Luna quickly walked up to Daniel, affectionately took his arm, and then shyly said to Katrina, "I'm not used to coming to places like this, but Daniel insisted on bringing me to meet his friends."
Katrina stared at Luna holding Daniel's hand for a while, then looked at Luna's face.
She felt that Luna now didn't seem as innocent and harmless as she did during the day. When she looked at her, she seemed to have a hint of hostility.
But Katrina was too lazy to care now. She said lightly, "Come a few more times, and you'll get used to it. You guys enjoy yourselves, I'm going to find my friends. Goodbye."
After Katrina left, Daniel kept watching her back.
Seeing this, Luna tugged at Daniel's sleeve and whispered, "Katrina seems to be a regular here, so carefree. Unlike me, I feel so uneasy as soon as I come in."
Daniel's face grew darker as he listened to Luna's words.
He didn't say anything until Katrina's figure disappeared into the crowd. Then he glanced at Luna without a word and turned back to the private room.
Luna hurriedly followed.
She knew her behavior just now was disgusting, but she had to seize the opportunity today.
While Katrina and Daniel were breaking up, she had to find a way to have sex with Daniel. If she could get pregnant, that would be even better.
But Luna's wishful thinking ultimately fell through. Daniel's alcohol tolerance was too good, and he was sober when he got home.
He even gentlemanly escorted Luna to her doorstep.
With no other choice, Luna could only pretend to be drunk, using the alcohol as an excuse for her blurred consciousness.
At the door, she held onto Daniel's sleeve tightly, refusing to let go.
"My head is spinning, Daniel, what's spinning in the sky? I really like you, Daniel." In a daze, these words came out of her mouth.
"Go back and rest early." Daniel was completely indifferent.
Seeing the indifference in Daniel's eyes, Luna decided to change her tactics.
She suddenly became bold, imitating Katrina's expression, and put her hands around Daniel's neck, leaning close to him. "Take me, Daniel, I don't need you to take responsibility."
Luna didn't know that she looked extremely unnatural imitating Katrina's demeanor, like someone who had never worn high heels trying to dance in them.
"You're not like this, Luna, it doesn't suit you." Daniel said coldly, removing the girl's hands from him.
Luna was stimulated by Daniel's words and retorted, "Then what suits me? All the styles you don't like are suitable for me, right?"
"Daniel, I don't want my affection to be a burden to you. If you accept me, just treat me as your girlfriend, not as a little sister."
Daniel rubbed his temples, looking at Luna expressionlessly. "I think you've misunderstood, Luna. You're just my fiancée for business cooperation. I already have a girlfriend."
"She's just temporarily broken up with me."
