Chapter 1931 The Fiery Lexicon
“There have been no Gods on Earth for thousands of years,” Jim agreed. “It could be linked to our environment rather than our cultivation. According to legends, there were numerous Gods back in ancient times, but they became extinct after the Thaeria Dynasty. No one knows why.”
Speaking of the Thaeria Dynasty, Tyr couldn’ help but think of Cicero, who had transformed into Emperor Martyn back in the royal tomb and soared into the sky with millions of soldiers. Cicero was able to tear the void open all by himself at the time, but only God was capable of tearing an opening in the space.
Was that guy already a God at that time?
“I believe Senior Spartacus would have been a God sixty years ago if he had been born in the era before the Thaeria Dynasty. His power should have been suppressed by our world. I’m afraid that we will suffer the same fate as Senior Spartacus.”
Something suddenly occurred to Tyr. “Is it because the books can help us break through the suppression of our world. Therefore, the collection of all five books can make someone a God?”
“Yes. That’s what my master said to me as well. The source of the legend is that since ancient times, people believed that gathering five books could create a God,” Jim explained.
“Of course, other options besides collecting those books must exist. I have a hunch that the energy that existed in the arctic had something to do with breaking free from the world’s oppression and nurturing a God.”
“Do you mean there is a good chance that someone is attempting to be a God in the arctic well?”
“Yup. Either that force can create a God, or they are attempting to break the seal and release a God from confinement,” Jim said solemnly. “Regardless of which possibility it’s going to be, both of them are bad signs for us.”
“You are right.” Tyr can’t imagine the level of terror that a supreme God could unleash.
If a Demigod is capable of toppling mountains and turning the seas, then a God must be able to destroy the entire world. It will be a disaster for the planet if a God were to be reborn in this world.
His thoughts were dragged back to the topic of discussion.
“Do you know what kind of book is the third book in the Dragon Palace?” Tyr wondered out loud. “Is the mystical powerhouse that built the Dragon Palace happen to be a metaphysics master? Will it be difficult for you to break the formation?”
“It’s going to be tough. It’s freaking hard to break through the formation and enter the Dragon Palace,” Jim answered without hesitation.
“It was an elite Metaphysics Master that forged the formation. The one he laid out before the palace is extremely complicated. You would destroy the entire palace if you forced your way in and blasted the door open with your power. So, we must destroy the formation to enter the palace.
“Given the complexity of the formation, I believe that master was not alone when he laid it down back then. He must have gathered a group of top-notch metaphysics masters, whom then collaborated to create such an amazing formation. Thus, the formation is still working after such a long time.
“The third book should be ‘Fiery Lexicon.’ The book was born out of the Peotha Dynasty’s good fortune about six centuries ago.”
“The Fiery Lexicon that originated from the Peotha Dynasty!” Tyr’s pupils shrank slightly at the mention of the book. A name came to him immediately. “Could that metaphysics master be Gwion from the Peotha Dynasty?”
Gwion was a well-known and world-class metaphysics master from the Peotha Dynasty. His fame required no further introduction. He was so popular that his reputation was on par with that of Flavius Belisarius of the Three Kingdoms.
“Old Zab, are you suggesting that the builder of the Dragon Palace is most likely Gwion?”
“The possibility’s definitely there. If it’s really him, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to crack this formation and get the third book from Dragon Palace without much trouble,” Jim replied with a nod.
For a moment, Tyr fell silent as his mind was a mess. He patted Jim heavily on the shoulder while saying, “Anyway, I’m counting on you! I will fly abroad to get the fourth book. I’ll be back before you know it.”
“Got it. If I need to start working on breaking through the formation, I’ll need one more thing,” Jim requested.
“What is it?” Tyr asked.
“We are Demigods, but we can’t stay at the bottom of the river for a long time like fish unless we find a special cultivation technique that allows us to hold our breaths underwater for a long time,” Jim stated.
“Are you saying you have to stay at the river’s bottom for a long time to break through the formation?” Tyr inquired.
“Yup. Without the cultivation technique to hold our breaths, the difficulty of achieving our goal will skyrocket.”
“Well… we can always look for this kind of cultivation technique, or is there a treasure like Hydrophobic Pearl out there which allows us to stay underwater for a longer time?” Tyr wondered out loud.
“Some things like Hydrophobic Pearl may exist, but I believe it is a priceless treasure that once belonged to the Gods. We will never find it by looking for it on a whim! I’ve asked Olympias to contact her family and help us with the search,” Jim revealed.
“Although that cultivation technique appears to be magical, it is not uncommon in the community. We will find it soon.”
“Well, I can’t argue with that! We must break the formation and get the book as soon as possible,” Tyr agreed. “I’ll ask the East clan to look for it too. Let’s see if we can find this type of cultivation method.”
“Great!”

Jim began to work on a plan to break into the Dragon Palace. The White family sent someone over in a matter of days and handed Jim the cultivation technique. He successfully cultivated it in the shortest time possible and entered the river to break the formation.
Tyr remained on Komodo Island while awaiting news from the Liberated. Once the arrangements were in place, the Dragun Squad would receive the request from the Liberated, and he would fly abroad to crusade against the Jackals in the name of the righteous. Then, he would obtain the Glinting Tome in the process.
In a luxurious manor in America at the time.
This manor was constructed on flat land and encompassed a large area. The manor’s architecture was inspired by the Celestial Empire’s classic architectural style. Many Celestians dressed in traditional suits came and go in this manor.
This place was the Liberated’s headquarters!
A man in his sixties was holding a teacup in one of the buildings decorated with a strong Celestian classical design. His brows were knit together, and he appeared to be solemn. Emmett, the Liberated’s leader, was the man in question. His expression revealed that he was incredibly upset at the time.
There was a group of men and women seated around him. They exuded a commanding aura of superior powerhouses. It was clear that these people were the Liberated’s top executives. They frowned, apparently at their wits’ end with the situation. Their demeanor was the polar opposite of the powerful, domineering way they had carried themselves in the past.
“Master, the Jackals have delivered something to us again.” A man showed up outside the door. He walked quickly into the building with a box in his hand.
